ROWAN TINDALE

As a designer-maker my strengths lie in a 'hands on' approach towards materials and processes. I specialise in wood and metals because I enjoy the strength and tactile qualities of these materials, and i feel they correspond with my ideas and values. the themes of sustainability and function underpin my work, from the design stage through the use of material and technique to the final object. Most of my work is designed and made on a large scale, however i also enjoy the delicacy of smaller pieces.

I am currently a 3rd year BA Hons (Mdes) student at Brighton university studying Design & Craft.
